A Post Housing Bubble Implosion Theory on the Creation of Bitcoin
Bankers have dreamed of a digital dollar based cashless financial system long before Bitcoin. A decent enough history on the subject is available at Amazon.com with a book entitled: The Book of Payments: Historical and Contemporary Views on the Cashless Society ISBN: 978-1-137-60231-2
With the widespread adoption of the internet, and the creation of YouTube and other social media platforms, the acceleration of knowledge exponentially exploded from 1995 to present day. By 2008 millions of world citizens had been exposed to shocking information related to the creation and manipulation of fiat currencies. The U.S. Fed was openly challenged by impertinent U.S. Congressmen to this regard and quite a bit of disdain began to build for the banking class and their faithful institutions. This worried those in charge.
Without losing control of the system and indeed gaining further control of the system by pushing forth the adoption of digital currencies, how could a government trick a population into becoming the test subjects of a trial run? The answer would be to use the cadre of Anti-Fiat Currency Protestors by making them think they had pulled one over on “The Man” or figured out a way to out-maneuver the Fed, thus the introduction of Bitcoin by a CIA agent named Satoshi Nakomoto. By allowing “The People” to become masters of their own Fiat-Free Universe in order to work out the kinks was a brilliant strategy on the part of the U.S. Government. One must ask why indeed the regulatory authorities have allowed an unregulated network of free thinkers to run amok with unregulated investment products in a nation of laws where a regime of advanced practices in consumer protection is well established.
This theory has it that this time has been needed for to enable the government agents a period of reflection and high level observation of social behaviour in order to allow time for a government sponsored Bitcoin alternative to be developed by “reliable” banks while the masses grow accustomed to the idea of using computer or internet based currency for their transactions. The theory appears to be working as the Crypto Industry is practically begging for the regulators to step in and calm the current markets and whip them into some kind of manageable shape where citizens feel confident that their “money” will not magically disappear into Crypto Utopia’s thin air. At this point in time, many will gladly trade their useless tokens of no apparent value for government sponsored tokens backed the “full faith and credit of the U.S. Government.”
So the theory goes…..
